Suzanne Ridding

Suzanne spent her early career working in banking and finance in the UK before moving to Australia in 1996.  In Australia, Suzanne has worked in leadership roles in public, private and not for profit organisations, including in finance, corporate governance, risk management, strategic planning, board positions and corporate administration. Until early 2008 she was the Chief Financial Officer at TransAdelaide; a role in which she was instrumental in securing State funding for rail infrastructure.

In 2004, Suzanne was a participant in the Governor’s Leadership Foundation and, in 2007, she became one of Al Gore’s Climate Project Ambassadors and has since been delivering climate change presentations in SA. This fuelled her interest in the environment and the desire to work in climate change and sustainability. As a result she left her position at TransAdelaide and now has the dual roles of Sustainability Manager at Statewide Super and her own consultancy practice working with organisations towards sustainability solutions and climate change adaptation.

Suzanne is a fellow of the Institute of Company Directors, an Associate of Chartered Secretaries Australia, holds a Masters of Business Administration and has undertaken studies in Sustainable Business at UniSA.
