           RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL POLICY

Sustainability Drinks (Melbourne & Adelaide) though a “drinks” event, drinking is by no means the core focus.
Careful selection of host restaurants/venues means we choose to hold events at sustainable and responsible locations that have their own RSA policies and where alcohol is not considered the main attraction. We aim for attendees to feel comfortable networking about sustainability with or without a glass in their hand.
Melbourne and Adelaide Sustainability Drinks supports venues close to public transport for safe transport and low carbon options.

Standard responsible service of alcohol procedures are carried out by the host venue/restaurant:

  • Preventing under age drinking by insisting on valid identification.
  • Preventing intoxication, by recognising the signs of intoxication and avoiding serving anyone to the point of intoxication.
  • Denying entry to persons already intoxicated.
  • Managing intoxicated, anti-social or disruptive patrons.

Our principle focus is to ensure that attendees to Melbourne and Adelaide Drinks enjoy a comfortable, friendly, trouble free environment with brilliant sustainability conversations.
