October 2009 Guest Speaker: Tim O'Loughlin
Tim O'Loughlin, South Australian Commissioner for Renewable Energy, will talk about how South Australia might position itself to participate in the pending boom in renewable energy in Australia. He will cover both large and distributed technologies.
Tim leads South Australia’s efforts to realise the full potential of its renewable energy resources. His experience includes roles within the Government managing sustainability and climate change policy development and running transport, land use planning and cultural development.

February 2009 Guest Speaker: Arif Paul
Arif is the founding Managing Director of Emission Finance Advisory; a firm specializing in compliance obligation and the commercial opportunities created by a carbon constrained economy. With previous managerial roles at Deutsche Bank and State Street Bank spanning three continents, he brings a global experience and a wealth of carbon finance strategies to the Australian Carbon market. Arif also engages with Kyoto bodies on best practice for emissions reductions through international CDM projects.
